On behalf of the Engagement and Sustainability Sector of the University of Padua, Quantitas produced the web-based version of the University’s Annual Sustainability Report 2023.

The report is the last part of a project that began with the realisation of an integrated tool for the centralised and systematised collection of data from all the University Departments involved in the periodic and compulsory registration of information necessary for the drafting of the Annual Report. Specifically, Quantitas developed a tool for customised creation, dispatch and monitoring of structured questionnaires to collect numerical, textual and multimedia information.

This tool will allow the department to autonomously manage the collection and periodic updating of the data provided by all the divisions of the University, verifying in real time the progress of the questionnaires’ compilation and allowing the tool’s administrators to send notifications to remind those responsible for compilation to provide all the requested data within the timeframe required for the design and production of the Annual Report.

The Final Report is structured in sections, accessed through a narrative based on the university’s numbers: it talks about the size of the university in terms of structures and people, it talks about the economic value generated, it talks about suppliers, waste management, energy and water consumption, it talks about the university’s carbon footprint, it talks about mobility and transport, it talks about the promotion of wellbeing and welfare, governance and gender policies, inclusion and social justice, and many other aspects that explain how the concept of sustainability emerges through all its declinations.

The Web Report is dynamic and interactive. It is presented in the form of a one web page that can be consulted vertically. The animations that make its consultation compelling take place as you scroll through the report from section to section.
